Rarijack-Daily 9.9.14: Big Sisters

Despite their many dissimilarities, Rarity and Applejack both share the title and status of Big Sister, something which I've always felt results in a rather unique and special element to their relationship with each other as well. Even though Rainbow Dash has adopted the occasional role of honorary big sister to Scootaloo these days, for these two the position frequently means they are left to act as pseudo-parents to their younger sisters, one fact which plays a role in my interpreting them as the two most mature members of the Mane Six (even if Rarity needs a little lesson is patience occasionally, and Applejack can tend towards overprotectiveness at times!). Whatever the case may be, I do think it's created a very endearing facet to both of their characters.
