So, it's been a while now since I've last uploaded anything, and though I will be the first person to admit this is not a stellar artwork by any definition it arguably is better than nothing. It was made as an excuse to play around with colors more than anything (and of course, Rainbow Dash is the ideal subject for such a thing), but despite my original intent I don't think I went quite
bold enough here, or at least didn't accomplish what I wanted because I'm sure nobody can argue dear Rainbow is on the fabulously garish side in terms of saturation here. As such, and because I'm not particularly thrilled with it I will likely move it to Scraps eventually, but for now am posting it to my main gallery because several people have asked me to upload some new work recently, and I know not everyone watches Scraps so this way at least they can have a chance to see it if they like.
EDIT: Well now, after receiving many kind comments from so many people I've actually reconsidered moving this to Scraps (or at least for the foreseeable future), as if nothing else this piece was a valuable experiment for me. Thank you all for the lovely feedback!
